A 161 km (100 mile) ultramarathon based in Chester following a circular route through Cheshire and the North Wales border region, with approximately 1,509 m of ascent. The course combines long-distance trails, canal paths, rural footpaths and forest tracks, including sections of the Sandstone Trail and Delamere Forest. Elevation is moderate, gained through rolling terrain rather than steep climbs. Surfaces vary between firm track, trail and occasional road links.
