A 177 km (110 mile) point-to-point ultramarathon along the Cleveland Way National Trail from Filey to Helmsley with approximately 4,500–5,000 m of ascent. The route combines coastal cliffs, moorland escarpment and woodland trail across the North York Moors National Park. Elevation is gained through repeated climbs between sea level and upland plateaus rather than a single sustained ascent. Terrain includes narrow coastal path, stone trail and exposed moorland sections. The course is marked with checkpoints and aid stations positioned throughout.
