A 161 km (100 mile) coastal ultramarathon in Cornwall following the South West Coast Path from St Ives to Porthtowan, with approximately 4,000 m of ascent. The route links headlands, coves and cliff-top sections with continual climbs and descents to sea level typical of coastal terrain. Underfoot conditions include narrow trail, stone steps, rocky path and short road sections near settlements. Held in January, the course is exposed to winter coastal weather. The route is marked with aid stations positioned at intervals in line with coastal ultra logistics.
