Celebrating a century of Kielder Forest, this is your chance to run through history. Join us for a unique trail running event on September 5th, 2026, starting from Kielder Castle. Experience the beauty of Northumberland's ancient woodlands with distances on offer for every level.

Celebrating the Ochils, this trail running experience offers all levels of running terrain and difficulty across five distances, from a forest trail 5k, a fast trail marathon and 50k that offers all of the best mix of forest and fell running. Starting at the University of Stirling, run out through Hermitage Wood and Black Hill, along undulating open trails, with the Ochils as your distant viewpoint.

This is a circular course where competitors will pass through various checkpoints in order to complete the full route. The route will be waymarked, taped or flagged across the full route. This event is inclusive and open to all including hikers & LDWA and those not wishing to compete, there will be an option to commence at 7am if requested. All participants must be aged 20 or over at the point of entry. The HUT race is run under UKA/TRA rules.

A long-distance ultramarathon crossing southern Scotland from west to east along the Southern Upland Way. Covering approximately 215 miles (346 km), the route traverses remote upland terrain, forestry tracks and open moorland, with elevation accumulated over many successive hills rather than major mountain ascents. The event requires sustained endurance over multiple days, with race structure, support arrangements and navigation requirements defined by the organiser.
