A 54 km (34 mile) coastal ultramarathon in South Devon with approximately 1,600 m of ascent, following sections of the South West Coast Path between Beesands and Exmouth. The route is defined by continual undulation, with repeated climbs from sea level onto headlands and descents into coves, estuaries and coastal villages. Terrain includes narrow cliff paths, stepped sections, beach crossings and firmer connecting tracks inland. Underfoot conditions are variable and can include mud, rock and loose trail depending on weather. Course marking, checkpoints and aid stations are provided in line with the organiser’s coastal event format.
