A 60 km (37 mile) coastal ultramarathon along the Sussex coastline with approximately 1,000 m of ascent, typically starting near Eastbourne and traversing sections of the South Downs and coastal cliffs. The route combines chalk downland paths, cliff-top trails and connecting rural tracks, with repeated shorter climbs rather than a single sustained ascent. Surfaces vary between firm chalk trail, grassland and narrower coastal path, with exposed sections possible in windy conditions. The course is fully marked and supported with checkpoints and aid stations at intervals determined by the organiser.
