A 50 mile ultramarathon following the Welcome Way long-distance route through Calderdale in West Yorkshire. The course links moorland ridges, valleys and historic industrial landscapes via trails, tracks and rural paths. Elevation is significant, accumulated through repeated climbs and descents across Pennine terrain. Underfoot conditions vary from firm track to rough moorland path depending on weather. Navigation requirements and aid station provision follow the organiser’s guidance.
