The full Welcome Way 50-mile ultra extends the 34-mile course with an additional loop out towards Arthington adding significant mileage and elevation. The core route is taped but the 50-mile extension is untaped — map/GPX competence is required. A unique cut-off applies at Shipley Glen (CP3): runners not there by 13:00 are automatically diverted to the 34-mile course. A drop bag can be left at registration and transported to CP3.
