A 50 km (31 mile) mountain ultramarathon starting and finishing in Nether Wasdale in the Lake District, with approximately 2,769 m of ascent. The route explores surrounding fells via steep climbs, high passes and rugged terrain characteristic of Wasdale. Underfoot conditions include rocky paths, rough trail and uneven ground on higher sections, with exposure possible on summits and ridgelines. Elevation is gained through sustained mountain ascents rather than gradual hills.
