A 80 km (50 mile) trail race on the South Downs Way National Trail covering approximately half of the route with around 1,900 m of ascent. The course follows chalk ridge, grassy trail and established track across the South Downs between Winchester and Eastbourne. Fully marked, the race includes aid stations positioned along the route and shares the event weekend with the 100 mile distance.
