A 50 km (31 mile) point-to-point ultramarathon along the South Downs Way between Matterley Bowl near Winchester and Queen Elizabeth Country Park, with approximately 1,200 m of ascent. The route follows chalk trail across rolling downland terrain, combining bridleways, grass paths and firm track. Elevation is gained through continuous undulation rather than steep climbs, with exposed ridge sections typical of the South Downs. Underfoot conditions are generally runnable but weather-dependent. The course is fully marked with aid stations positioned at intervals along the route.
