A 164 km (102 mile) circular ultramarathon around the Cheshire canal network with approximately 340 m of ascent. The route links multiple historic waterways to form a continuous low-elevation loop on towpaths and firm tracks. Terrain is predominantly flat and runnable, with surfaces consisting mainly of compact gravel and occasional paved sections. Elevation is gained gradually rather than through sustained climbs. Course navigation follows the canal system, with checkpoints and aid stations positioned at intervals along the route.
