A 115 km (72 mile) point-to-point ultramarathon from Fort William to Inverness following the Great Glen Way through the Scottish Highlands. The route links lochside trails, forestry tracks, canal towpaths and hillside paths with approximately 1,500 m of ascent spread across sustained but runnable terrain. Surfaces are predominantly firm trail and track, with occasional rougher sections and exposed areas above Loch Ness. The course is marked and supported, with aid stations positioned along the route in line with long-distance trail race logistics.
