A 50 km ultramarathon in the Lake District National Park combining valley trails, fellside paths and sections of rough upland terrain. Climbs are sustained with descents into valleys between higher sections. Surfaces range from rocky trail to dirt track and grass path, with variable conditions depending on weather. The course is marked with aid stations positioned along the route.
