A 50 km trail ultramarathon along the South Downs following ridgeway paths, chalk tracks and grass trails across rolling downland. The route traverses exposed high ground with sustained undulation rather than extended climbs, linking sections of the South Downs Way and surrounding trails. Underfoot conditions are typically firm but can become slippery when wet, particularly on chalk surfaces. The course is marked and supported with aid stations positioned along the route in line with Maverick event logistics.
