A Pennine Way ultramarathon covering the southern section from Edale to Hardraw over approximately 43 miles (69 km). The route traverses moorland plateaus, hill trails and remote upland terrain with sustained climbs and exposure on higher ground. Surfaces include flagstones, rough path and softer moorland sections. Checkpoints are positioned along the route in line with Spine Race event logistics.
