A 50 mile ultramarathon through Highland terrain using trails, estate tracks and upland paths across remote landscapes. Elevation is moderate to substantial depending on the route, gained through sustained climbs rather than technical scrambling. Underfoot conditions vary from firm track to rough trail. Course logistics, navigation requirements and aid station provision are specified by the organiser.
